After a beautiful trekking from Kalaw (skip it if not trekking) with A1 (highly recommended company) we arrived at the dreamlike Thahara Inle Heritage. This place has it all!  Hidden away from the main tourist places on Inle lake there are only 6 beautiful bungalows perched on stilts above the water linked by a very nice wooden walkway. The restaurant arguably has the best food (there's a cooking school) on Inle Lake and the people ar very attentive and personal. The place is so nice you would stay there if it was not that incredible Inle Lake is waiting in front of you to be explored. This place cannot be recommended enough. Book long before you go!
