In this highly industrialized area Speicher7 is a welcome addition to the rather uniform hotel scene. It's located in a renovated warehouse from the 1950's, right on the bank of the Rhine river. The interior is very vintage with all kind of artifacts. The gorgeous bar is the central space and when weather permits boosts a large outside terrace next to the river. Tasty Tapas are the main offer but there's also a good restaurant next door. The rooms are well appointed and have been carefully designed with more than a nod to it's 20th Century past. Coco-mat beds and bathroom amenities from Aesop show the amount of detail and a focus on well-being. Speicher7 is a cool place with an attitude.
