This hotel (now Maxim Folies), close to the Opera, is situated in the middle of Paris (9th district). It has contemporary, reasonable sized rooms, at a very affordable price (for Paris). The hotel has all the amenities you need and the breakfast is pretty nice (12 euro / person) and varied. As you know the possibilities in Paris are endless. Diner in nearby restaurant Chartier (though the food isn’t actually that good) is an experience. You can find many bars and much nightlife in the area. With Galleries Lafayette and the Opera area nearby shopping is an easy step away. Recommended for urban city dwellers.
