L’ Auberge du Notaire is foodie land. The owners are really passionate about cooking and that results in excellent diners and breakfast (we really enjoyed this). They transformed this notary house in a very charming B&B with modern rooms and the old notary office (restaurant) is really authentic. The atmosphere is typical genial Dutch. In summer you can also enjoy a beautiful garden (which we couldn’t take advantage of  because of the winter time). Vielsalm isn’t the nicest city but we had a great time walking in nature. This place is an ideal base to further explore the Ardennes.
