Originally a cloister and rebuild to a farmhouse in the 19th century, Masseria Montelauro is located in the countryside near Otranto and the beautiful Adriatic coast. The inviting pool is set amidst a beautiful garden with fruit - and olive trees. It's easy to spend some relaxing time there. The reception area, the rooms  and other communal areas combine rustic charm with some contemporary touches. Most rooms have the original vaulted stone ceilings, giving a warm atmosphere. The food is really nice and the yummy breakfast (and diner if weather allows)  is served on a lovely terrace. It's a recommended place to stay in this part of Puglia. The two donkeys would agree.
