Maison Leila is a very peaceful guesthouse. Newly built but with authentic charm and local decoration. Hostess Alessandra is very welcoming and helpful. The 5 suites are laid out around a courtyard with fountain, where it is nice to relax. Tea (of course) is served every day and breakfast is well appointed. The swimming pool (under construction when we visited) looks pretty nice now (by the pictures and latest reviews). The location is a bit remote but with a car it’s not far from the beaches (go to ‘plage municipal’, where the locals go) and lively capital Houmt Souk (for good fish).
