When you arrive at the brousse hotel Les Palétuviers after a long and bumpy, but fascinating road trip you’ll be surprised by it’s dreamlike setting. The view from the bar/resto and the whole place itself is magnificent. The well appointed lodges, lovely garden with swimming pool, the tropical birds around guarantee a very comfortable and special stay. The food is excellent and the famous ‘teranga’ does the rest. The Saloum delta/mangrove area is beautiful to explore and the local and nearby villages are very authentic. Remember, you’re very remote here but that should be the reason you come here.
