Fjærland Fjordstove is set in a melancholic landscape. The remote idyllic booktown Fjærland is surrounded by dramatic scenery and situated on an upper branch of the Sognefjord. This small hotel, which it's terrace on the water, features (small) rooms which are cute and cozy. However, it's the living room/porch, filled with Scandinavian furniture, that attracts the most. It's all kind of basic but charming at the same time. Don't expect elevators but rather cracking staircases. But the real attraction of this hotel is it's food, and it is exquisite. Please spoil and take the full menu. Far away from mass tourism you'll love this place.
