Vilacampina is heaven. It’s the kind of place you hope one day you’ll discover. Everything is right here; the superb contemporary accommodation, the friendly owner Sofia and her staff, the lovely swimming pool (with honesty bar, you’re really at home in this place), and the sumptuous breakfast. Although the hotel is located in rural countryside the best beaches are close by (albeit a long walk). It’s also the perfect base to explore the eastern Algarve. The hotels website mentions: ‘A stay at Vilacampina is an invitation to enjoy a simple, friendly and exquisite atmosphere’. Right they are!
