The Miró Hotel is very well located. It’s very near to the Guggenheim museum and from the room we got a nice view onto it. It was the first of it’s kind (hotel) in Bilbao. Due to the success of the museum to attract tourists more design hotels came to town but it still isn’t surpassed by many. It’s convenient, modern and it’s very reasonable priced (including free drink and sandwiches bar in the afternoon). Of course Bilbao has more to offer than the museum. Pintxos are a favourite (but cannot rival San Sebastian) and exploring the old town is also a rewarding experience.
