This renovated trendy colonial house is located in Santa Teresa, a charming neighborhood, close to ‘Centro’ but with the feeling of a village. Flávia and the owner Jean Michel are incredible pleasant hosts. We got a free upgrade to the ‘great’ Jean Cocteau junior suite - actually you’ve to explore the bathroom/dressing area :-). A hearty breakfast is served on the room’s terrace with enchanting view over Rio’s Guanabara bay. The swimming pool in the lovely garden makes the picture complete. Try resto Aprazível nearby. Mama Ruisa is an exceptional getaway in the ‘cidade maravilhosa’.
