Hotel Viura is a very special hotel. At first glance it seems out of place in this small village but actually on closer inspection it’s very well integrated in the surrounding architecture. The elder people visiting the local bar on the square seem to hardly notice it anymore. Rooms (take one with a view - spacious and very modern) and services are really good. It’s located in the most beautiful part of La Rioja (and stunning bodegas from Gehry, Calatrava and even a Zaha Hadid shop). You can use the village swimming pool located at 50m. Best (reasonable priced) place to stay in La Rioja.
