The 9 hotel is well located on a short distance of the Gare du Nord.  It has 48 rooms which are all contemporary in design. Don’t expect heaven on earth but given it’s location in Paris it’s worthwhile as a base for a few days for your next city trip.  The room I stayed in was small but comfortable. Breakfast (15 euro at that time) was varied and adequate.  The beautiful galleries Verdeau and the oldest “Panoramas” are easily reached by foot. The metro is close by (about 250m) and brings you straight to eg. the Louvre.  Nice alternative at this price for the more design oriented amongst us.
