This very quirky boutique design hotel lies a little off the beaten ‘Tuscany’ track between Lucca and Sienna but is well worth a detour. Everything in this converted house breathes design and art. Chiara (one of the 2 sisters that run this place), is very welcoming and attentive. The whole place is very charmful and the rooms, communal areas, garden and swimming pool area are all gorgeous. The special thing is breakfast, with so many different small cakes/dishes, you would like to try them all, impossible! Foodies can also head to nearby Papaveri e Papere, one of the best restaurants in the whole region.
